Hello Dennis, I am descended also from Martin Atkin,who is my great-great paternal grandfather. His parents were Robert Adkin (1764-1827) and Ann Atkin(perhaps maiden name of Ann Kemp) (1768-1851) Martin's spouse was Mary Jackson (1804-1881)Their daughter, Martha(1845-1923) is my great-grandmother. Her daughter,Jane(1874-1960) is my grandmother.
I have no information back from Robert Adkin and Mary Moor, other than their names.
